This project provided some unique challenges. The existing large railway tie retaining wall had deteriorated and needed replacing. The client loved the look of natural stone so we built the retaining wall using large limestone boulders and random slab steps.
Here we created a new entrance for the property using wiarton limestone square cut stone, treads and wall stones. We also resurfaced the existing concrete porch with the same wiarton limestone.
This complete basement renovation. We stripped everything to the foundation wall and made it into a more useable, warm and cozy space. We added a new bathroom, storage and living area.
This project was initiated by a deteriorating basement walk-out. We replaced the rotting timbers with an interlocking retaining wall and installed a new catch basin to ensure proper drainage. We also re-organized the patio/entertaining areas.
